This summer, Grow It Green Morristown is excited to offer two classes:

Tyke Time for ages 2 to 5 on Saturdays at the Urban From 10am to 11am

and Farm Friends for ages 6 to 9 at the Urban Farm on designated Saturdays

Each class is $12/child

Tyke Time and Farm Friends are hosted at The Urban Farm, located at 31 Hazel Street in Morristown, NJ 07960 (behind Lafayette Learning Center)

Tyke Time encourages children's interaction with the natural world and introduces children to farm life with a story and an activity conducted outside.  Our Education Manager, Farmer Kim, joined by a high school intern, will lead each class. Tyke Time focuses on a different topic each session, from Ladybugs to Seeds allowing children a fun way to discover and explore at The Urban Farm, and interact with other children. Tyke Time is a great time to spend outdoors with your young child, and therefore a parent and/or a caregiver needs to stay and participate in the program as well please. 

Farm Friends is designed for older children and these classes will build off the Tyke Time curriculum, allowing Farmer Kim to go in greater depth on Farm topics. Farm Friends will learn more skills in a safe, welcoming environment.
