In 2024, Grow It Green Morristown celebrated 15 years of impact in the Morristown community. What started as a vacant lot littered with trash, grew into the Early Street Community Garden, a space where more than 80 families gather and grow their own food. ESCG was the seed that grew into the Urban Farm, a one-acre giving farm where students, volunteers and groups learn and practice sustainable agriculture, feeding minds and bellies with nutrient-dense produce.

Marisa Sweeney

Marisa Sweeney MS RDN is a registered dietitian nutritionist, certified yoga instructor, and nutrition doctoral
candidate at the University of North Florida. She is the Owner and Creator of Be Well Integrative Health Services, founded in 2012, which is a wellness center headquartered in downtown Morristown, NJ, and integrated into the medical teams of world-renown medical practices nationwide.

Samantha Rothman

A lover of all things that grow in the soil. Samantha Rothman is the owner of Fairview Farm and Flowers, a boutique specialty cut flower farm and floral design studio situated on a historic gilded age estate in Morristown, NJ. Growing up with a mother from rural Kansas and a father from urban Brooklyn, she developed a passion for connecting people to plants.
